My name is T.F. "Sam" Spayd, and I have been the proud owner of this beautifully restored World War II trainer for the past ten years. The history and lore of this era of aviation is rapidly passing into the sunset, and I wanted to share the wonderful experience of "open cockpit" flight with as many people as possible.

I'm a retired Air Force pilot with thirty years experience, and I've recently retired from a major airline with 25 years experience flying B-747s and B-777s in worldwide operations. I hold the highest ratings granted by the F.A.A., and have over 17,000 hours of flight experience. Flying on the Oregon coast is a magical experience, with all the beautiful scenery and of course the breathtaking sunsets. So come fly with me and enjoy the seldom seen beauty of the cliffs, beaches and lighthouses from a different perspective - between 500 and 1,000 feet above the ground!
